“Everyone knows that the internet is not a legal vacuum. However, in order to implement the legal requirements, comprehensible and practical application aids are needed. As part of the PriDI project, we are developing these and thus helping people understand the law.”
Leopold Beer studied law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, specializing in competition law, intellectual property and media law. During his studies, he worked as a student assistant in a major law firm on data protection legal issues. Since graduating in July 2024, Leopold Beer has been working at Open Search Foundation. There, he researches the legal foundations of an open search infrastructure for the PriDI project. His focus is on the areas of platform regulation and consumer law.
